Over time we have been populating this section of the website with historical data, covering winners of the club's perpetual trophies, committee members, members of Australian teams, the citations given for our life members, and other notable achievements of our present and past members.
The first data to be posted were the club records. These are updated at the end of each track and field season.
A list of athletes who have won the club's trophies each season has now also been posted. We know it is incomplete. While we were able to take the names off the trophies themselves for some of the major awards, and therefore have a complete set, for other awards we are missing the names of some winners. Even where we know the name of the winner, we sometimes only have a first initial. We're very keen to receive any information that can help us complete these lists - just contact one of the committee if you can help us.
Norths athletes who have been selected in Australian track and field teams has now been posted, together with major championship medals they have won. This provides full representative details, whether the athlete was a member of the club at the time or not. The information for this list was taken from the Athletics Australia website and matched against recipients of club awards. We may have missed some athletes from the earliest years of our club as they were then competing for NSW, and were not so easily identified. We would gratefully receive details of anyone we have missed, and of any additional teams for those we have already identified.
A partial list of club committee members has been posted. The primary source for this was ACT handbooks and, in recent years, committee minutes. Any information that fills in the gaps, particularly for the early years, would be much appreciated.
